Marios Michael, DC, CNS, cFMP, author of “Understanding Genomics: How Nutrition, Supplements, and Lifestyle Can Help You Unlock Your Genetic Superpowers,” offers a game-changer for readers wanting to learn how to live longer and healthier. Dr. Michael says, “My book is an essential read for all looking to live longer and healthier lives by unlocking the secrets of making your DNA work for you. It defines the steps to help prevent and manage health conditions by making most of your DNA. Profoundly informative and resourceful, the book describes the necessary steps to help prevent or manage health conditions through nutrition, practitioner-grade supplements, and lifestyle recommendations.”
Why is this a game-changer? Since the beginning of time, people have tried to prolong their lives, but the answer has eluded us. Not anymore. This book provides the most precise explanation of genomics in layman’s terms. Firstly, it relates how the increasing knowledge in genomics affects healthcare by allowing the focus to be on specific genes that affect a particular condition. Even if a “bad” gene is there, its expression can often be discouraged by the use of supplements and fasting, and a healthier lifestyle, according to Dr. Michael. “It used to be that we had to guess what supplements to take or what types of diets we should follow,” says Dr. Michael. “But now we can know if we have genes that can cause, or are causing, specific problems and can meet the problems head on. We can target nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle to unlock our genetic superpowers.” Published by BookBaby on June 2, 2022, “Understanding Genomics: How Nutrition, Supplements, and Lifestyle Can Help You Unlock Your Genetic Superpowers” is available on Amazon in paperback and eBook.
