The excitement is building as Jacquie Roar, the dynamic performer who captivated audiences on Season 24 of “The Voice,” is set to take the stage at the Opry Plaza on June 7th!
This special night is part of Whiskey Jam’s Summer Concert Series and represents a full circle moment for Roar. Her mentor and former coach, Reba McEntire, recently invited Lainey Wilson to join the Grand Ole Opry, with the induction also set to take place on June 7th. McEntire’s guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping Roar’s career, making this performance a heartfelt reunion of sorts.
Jacquie Roar’s journey to this prestigious stage has been nothing short of spectacular. During her time on “The Voice,” she delivered a show-stopping performance of Lainey Wilson’s “Wildflowers and Wild Horses,” earning high praise from Wilson herself.
“[Jacquie Roar]… love this!” Wilson wrote on her Instagram story, sharing a video of the performance on December 5, 2023. “You absolutely killed this performance.”
The evening will also feature a performance by the legendary Wynonna, who served as Jacquie’s mega-mentor during her season on “The Voice.” This lineup promises an unforgettable night of music, celebrating the past, present, and future of country music.
Whiskey Jam’s Summer Concert Series is a free event and begins at 5:30pm CST.
Jacquie Roar will also be performing on June 6th at 4:30 PM on the Spotlight Stage at Fan Fair X, followed by a meet and greet at 5:00 PM. Mark your calendars and kick off CMA Fest with a “Roar!”
