It reflects my unwavering commitment to shedding light on the historical injustices that continue reverberating from the illegal overthrow of Queen Liliʻuokalani. Through this work, I aim to magnify the voices of the Hawaiian community and expose the enduring injustices they face, fostering empathy and understanding among readers.

How does this book reflect on what’s going on in Hawaii now?
This book poignantly reminds us of the delicate balance between technological advancement and preserving indigenous wisdom. As society becomes increasingly entangled in the web of technology, we risk losing touch with the profound teachings and respect for life embedded in Hawaiian culture.
